School of Pharmacy Mission Statement

The School of Pharmacy is an integral part of the Medical Sciences Campus of the
University of Puerto Rico. Its main mission is the formation of human resources in pharmacy to improve the health-related quality of life of individuals and populations. As a state institution, we recognize the responsibility of assuming leadership in research and service in order to contribute to the health and the economy of Puerto Rico. We offer programs at the professional and graduate levels targeted to improving the effective and safe use of medications. In addition, we promote excellence in education, research, and service in an environment of respect and commitment.
